Description
The retro Greyhound bus terminal, located in Evansville, Indiana, was built in 1939. The construction began in the Spring of 1938, and Greyhound Bus Depot opened 1939. The depot closed in 2007 when Greyhound relocated its buses to the expanded METS station at 6th and Vine Streets.
In 2008 a study was commissioned to look for possible reuses of the site as a new arena with reuse as ticket office, however, is now being renovated for Indiana Landmarks as a regional office for the preservation organization.
A painterly effect has been applied to this image.
