Description
This image is a re-visit done on November 12th to the site where the original Secluded Barn images were first shot during January of 2013. During this visit, the early morning sun is rising behind the barn, as seen through the tree branches above the peak of the roof. Not too much has changed, with the exception of a few more warped boards, warped metal siding, and additional dead tree branches on the roof. The faded "ghost sign" on the rusty corrugated metal siding reminds us of times past when some rural buildings were used for advertising.
The point of view in this image provides a nice view of the faded lettering painted on the rusted, galvanized siding, which appears to be flexing/bowing somewhat in the lower right corner of the structure. Unfortunately not visible in this shot, the Purina feed sack seen in other views is no longer there, and someone has stood the wicker-bottomed chair upright and placed it nearer the loft opening. This barn is located alongside a narrow two-lane blacktop road in Hopkins County, Kentucky.
